I planned and produced global education materials for Finnish lower and upper secondary education as part of the youth-focused Forests and Sustainable Development communications and global education project, designed to support the work of comprehensive school teachers.
In planning the content, we listened to young people’s own perspectives, collaborated with teachers, and took into account the goals of the national core curriculum for basic education.
Through the Forests and Sustainable Development project, we reached hundreds of teachers and their students. We highlighted the many meanings and roles of forests in countries of the Global South, especially from the perspective of ecosystem services, while also sharing information about international career opportunities in the forest sector.
Website visual and content redesign

This was my first more comprehensive website renewal project for an organisation. The goal was to refresh the site’s visual identity, create a lighter and more approachable feel, and make information easier to access — while reflecting the organisation’s values of sustainability, collaboration and internationality in a human-centred way.
The website was built on Squarespace.
I also contributed creating social media content and design for fundraising campaigns (e.g. Kapua 2024-2025) and social media channels.
Anniversary publication design and content

I took part in the planning and production of the organisation’s 10th anniversary publication. I was responsible for developing the publication’s visual direction together with my team and a graphic designer, including the cover, colour palette and layout. I also wrote and refined content, proofread texts, and ensured linguistic consistency and flow in both Finnish and English.
The project brought together engaging and informative content, visual thinking, and communication accuracy. Our aim was to communicate the story, impact and values of a small international organisation in a clear, accessible and informative way for a wider audience.
